What’s a zine?A zine is a type of fanmade magazine which contains original works. They come in physical and digital copies, but this zine will be in a digital PDF.What does each position mean?Contributor role definitions can be seen in this docWhat are you looking for in my portfolio?We do have requirements for each position. The general skills are listed below:- A range of Splatoon artwork.
- A range of drawings from any fandom or OCs in different situations.
- Rendering skills.Some more specific skills for positions such as Comic Artist and Character Concept Artist are listed as well:- Some background drawing.
- Visual concepts for OCs (can be original or from any fandom) or a reference sheet.
- Clothes, background, and/or prop design.Of course, if at least one of these don’t apply to you, you can still apply! You don’t have to delay your application to draw more stuff for your portfolio.Will the zine be free?The zine will be behind a paywall - its price will depend on the results of the interest check. 100% of the profits made will go to the Palestinian Relief Fund, and/or other charities suggested in the interest check.What’s your AI policy?Strictly no AI or traced art. If you are found to have these in your portfolio, your application will be deleted and you won’t get a response. If you’ve already been accepted in the zine, your position will be terminated and you’ll be replaced by a backup artist.
